Why are you taking pictures of me with that ridiculous camera?
The Master finds that he rather likes this photograph, and so he decides to keep it in his inner coat pocket. There was just something about it…. he’d stopped for a moment to look at that watch he insisted on wearing and someone had caught it on camera. For once the Doctor wasn’t rushing around haphazardly. He was still. In the snow. Real snow. His favourite.
Yes, there was something about this photo, and it warmed the Master’s hearts when he looked at it.
Sometimes Jack would walk with the Master through the woods on the Time Lord’s estate. They’d spend hours sharing stories of their past, opinions on various theories about several different sciences, or simply walking side by side in silence, enjoying each other’s company.
Sometimes he’d bring his camera, because at times on those walks, Jack could see a glimmer of the proud man that the Master had once been. He was seeing it more and more these days, and he liked to capture those moments, like this one, even if it did annoy the Master. The Time Lord still humored him, though.
